Cookie Ingredients: -1cup butter, -1 cup powdered sugar -1egg -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -2 3/4 cups all purpose flour -1 teaspoon baking powder -1 teaspoon salt -1/2 cup sliced almonds -2 tablespoons icing glueIcing glue: -1/4 cup powdered sugar -1 teaspoon water Method-Mix together in a small bowl until the consistency is similar to that of a paste. Cookie method:1 In a large mixing bowl,beat the butter until smooth and creamy.2 Add the sugar,egg and vanilla extract and mix well.3Add the flour,baking powder and salt and beat until completly mixed.4Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.5Preheat the oven to 325 degrees celsius.6With your hands,roll a heaping tablespoon of dough into a finger shape for each cookie.If the dough gets sticky or hard to work with,put it back in the refidgeerator for a while.7Use a butter knife to make knuckle marks on the cookie.8Bake for 20-25 minutes until the fingers are slightly golden.Remove from oven and let cool.9Attach almond slice fingernails to the tip of each fingers using icing glue.Cool for 30 minutes.
